Hi, my name is Sue and I am a qualified teacher and archaeologist. I have a passion for teaching about the past and the wonderful world of archaeology and discovery.

The courses are 8 weeks in duration and last for about an hour. They give you a real insight into how archaeology has helped us understand more about the past in that particular period of time, and the people who lived there.

• Most archaeologists are not teachers and are not sure how to plan, structure or deliver in an effective educational way.
• The sessions are designed to be taught to multiple ages groups. A fair amount of my research time was spent understanding how to teach to multi age groups for the best results. I believe I have found the perfect balance for those aged 6-18.
• Each sessions is broken down and taught specifically with youths in mind.
• I stick to the facts and do not ‘dumb’ anything down – it is explained in such a way that the children/students ‘get it’ and can carry the information on through their adult lives.
• The activities we provide at the end of each session encourage exploration and discovery of the world, within your own backyard!
