Defensive dyke, early Medieval linear earthwork.

 

5th -6th C                        Constructed. Had three sections.

1996                              Watching Brief by AC Archaeology.

1997                              Watching Brief by AC Archaeology.

1998                              Watching Brief by Avon Archaeology Unit. The eroded bank was recorded as being 32.8 ft wide.
