Triangular Iron Age univallate promontory hill fort covering 1.75 ha, defended by a rampart to the south and a scarp and ditch to the north with entrances to the north east- with inturns and a berm, and south west – with inturns. Had a dry stone wall measuring 9.8 ft thick and standing 1.6 ft high and the rampart measuring 4.9 – 6.5 ft high.
