Oval shaped Iron Age univallate hill fort covering 2.7 ha and defended by a rampart, ditch and counterscarp. The rampart measuring 3.2 – 4.9 ft wide and standing 3.9 ft high, the ditch measuring 3.2 ft wide and 14.7 ft deep and the counterscarp measuring 3.2 ft wide and 3.2 ft high. The original entrance to the east has inturns.
17th – 18th C Copper ore pits in and around the site.
