Univallate Iron Age hillfort covering 1.21 ha, situated on the slope of the hill. Surviving bank measures 2.43m high. Bank and ditch still traceable on the west and south west sides.

 

1578                            Known as dead Man’s Burial.

1964                            South rampart bulldozed and destroyed.

1965                            Field Investigation.
