Oval Iron Age hill fort, Medieval motte and bailey castle, defended by a bank and ditch with the bank measuring approximately 131.ft high and the ditch measuring 19.6 ft wide The motte measuring 75.4 ft in diameter and surrounded by a ditch, the original entrance may have been to the south east.
