Circular Iron Age hill fort measuring 360 ft in diameter externally, 236 ft diameter internally and defended by a rampart, ditch and counterscarp. The rampart measuring 6.2 ft high, the ditch measuring 4.9 ft wide and 6.5 m deep, the counterscarp measuring approximately 6.2 ft high and a causeway which measures 22 ft wide and disturbed. The entrance to the south west has inturns and a possible guardhouse.
