Medieval motte and bailey, possible Adulterine castle with the motte measuring 147.6ft in diameter and standing 32.8ft high with the top measuring 29.5ft in diameter. The encircling ditch measuring 26.2ft wide and 8.2ft deep. The sub-rectangular bailey to the east measuring 190.2ft by 118.1ft is surrounded by a ditch.’
