* Sub-rectangular Medieval manorial complex with motte measuring 650ft by 430ft. The moat was wide and deep. The outer bank measuring 4-5ft high and 6-8ft above the bottom of the moat, and internally the rampart measuring 9ft wide and 18 inches high. Has an inner moat with the moat on the south side measuring 6-9ft deep and wet, the entrance is to the east of the bailey and the buildings were at the north east corner.
