Medieval motte and bailey castle with the motte measuring 44 m at its base and standing 9.2 m above the bottom of the surrounding wet ditch. Had a kidney shaped bailey with a rampart to the south.
Possibly owned by Walter de Lacy.
There are a few stones on the bush covered motte.
