Medieval motte and bailey castle with the motte measuring 50 m in diameter at its base, 22 m by 25 m in diameter at its oval shaped top and standing 7.2 m high. Had an irregular shaped bailey and an outer bailey.
The motte held a shell keep and the remains of a curtain wall can be traced. Foundations in the outer bailey may belong to a gatehouse.
