Thruxton Tump

Medieval motte measuring 20 m in diameter and standing 5.5 m high defended by a surrounding ditch with an outer bank. May possibly have had a bailey or outer enclosure.

Foundations found on the motte.

Finds include pottery, iron, glass bottle and some beads.
