Medieval motte and bailey castle with the motte standing 2.5 m high at its northern aspect. The motte and bailey were separated by a 6 m wide ditch and a bank measuring 4 m wide and 0.5 m high. The bailey measured 40 m north to south and 60 m east to west. The remains of an outer bank exist.
