Leintwardine: BRANOGENIUM: Jay Lane Fort

Roman fort covering 5½ acres and defended by a double ditch measuring 1.8 m wide and 1 m deep, and a possible turf rampart. Had timber interval towers. An annexe found on the south west side of the site was defended by a single ditch.
